History:
When Lester was born, his mother was not very healthy. She wasn't bed ridden, but she seriously could not raise Lester on her own. Unfortunately, however, his Father had to leave them to do work in Castelia. They lived in Misaltron Village. Lester's father had left them with a shiny Fraxure named Rand though, as a guard of sorts.

Left with his mother and Rand, Lester basically had no real father figure for half his life.
Lester's mother knew that his father wanted him to train to become a knight, so in between helping his mother with things around the house, Lester trained with Rand during nights starting when he was eight.

Eventually at the age of 14, Lester took up the sword his father left him, "Forged Victory", and used that to train with Rand. During this time his mother was now bed ridden and needed Lester to do most of the work around the house as well. Throughout the years training with Rand they've formed quite a bond though Rand was quickly becoming increasingly more violent as days passed.
Lester's mother knew he couldn't keep training with Rand or else Rand would eventually seriously hurt him. Fortuneatly things changed for the better in a way when one day Lester found a Tepig in the field while working. The poor thing was practically starving to death.
Being the kind-hearted kid he was, Lester took him home and called him Alvin. He fed the Tepig and made sure he was warm. Alvin normally stayed with Lester's mother as he was regaining strength.

A few years later, when he was 16, his father finally returned home to take over taking care of Lester's mother, though he too was in bad shape and looked like he could've fallen ill any second.
Lester's father told them of what he heard to be an inevitable Civil war in Unova. He told them everything he knew.
Lester dreaded the sound of this, they all did. Lester did not want his country to go to war with one another, and told himself he'd do his best to keep peace fully knowing that one child cannot change an entire country on his own.

A few months later, during his training, Rand went with an Outrage attack and evolved during the process. He would've seriously hurt Lester if Alvin, who had regained his strength by then, hadn't gotten in the way and tried attacking Rand to stop him from going out of control.
Lester's father, who was still in possession of Rand's pokeball, concealed Rand inside of his pokeball and instructed Lester never to let him out unless the situation really called for it.

For the next few years, Lester trained with Alvin, who eventually evolved into Pignite, while his father took care of his mother in Lester's place.
This went on for a few years, this training, until Lester turned 19.
Cutting his training short, Lester decided to head for where the head of the Knight's guild resided.
With Alvin by his side, and Rand concealed in his pokeball he bid his parents a rather bittersweet farewell and headed toward Castelia City.
Along the way he saw many pokemon he had never seen around his home, he even came across an egg that seemed to be abandoned at the side of the road. He took this egg in and took care of it, and it eventually hatched into the newest member of the team, Halvor, an Archen.
Upon reaching castelia city, with Alvin, Halvor and Rand, in awe of the grand city for the time period just as he had been in awe over Driftveil, he knew there was no turning back now. He would join the knights guild no matter what.

Personality:
Lester is a polite, honest young man with a gentle disposition. Upon looking at him the first time you'd never think he would join a guild like the Knight's guild. Lester has always been very obidient to his parents however, and couldn't turn down his father's wishes to become a knight. Though he was also very young when he started training and probably did not understand fully what his father wanted him to do.
Being the way he is, Lester does not promote fighting and usually chooses it as a last resort in most cases. Even when the situation calls for fighting he is usually very hesitant unless a life that is not his own is in danger.
Lester can usually stay calm on the battlefield, although he usually gets very excited by the little things.
In addition to this, Lester easily adapts to situations, he's not very quick on his feet but he can still think fast and process things "at the speed of light", as Alvin says.

Alvin has always been close to Lester. They're so close that Lester can even understand him. He's usually a very cheerful pignite. It sometimes angers him that Lester will not take fighting as a first option in dangerous situations that will most likely lead to fighting anyway, and sometimes fights on his own when Lester refuses to fight straight away. Being as close to Lester as he is, Alvin will do anything to protect Lester.
He is tank-like when it comes to fighting and can take many hits. He uses his amazing endurance to his advantage in battle.

Halvor
Careful Nature
Alert to Sounds
Halvor is technically only a baby, though he has grown a bit since he hatched. He has tried his best in training with Lester and Alvin since he hatched. Being flightless, he likes riding on Lester's head when he can. Also being a baby he can be curious at times but he is a very nervous Archen, leading him to being more careful than curious.
He is very quick in battle even if he can't fly. He uses his speed and the useful U-turn to his advantage in battle.

Rand
Serious Nature
Strong Willed
Rand is a very dangerous Haxorus. Though he only means well, he easily loses control of himself when executing his powerful Outrage move. He is a very serious soul, and he also very quiet. It is not known if Lester can understand him or not. They know that he is not mute, because he can roar, but he just doesn't talk. Lester has not let Rand out of his pokeball since his father instructed him to though, so he hasn't had a chance to talk since then.
Rand is a powerhouse and his scaly skin is very hard to peirce. Rand uses his pure power to his advantage in battle.

Extra
-Lester wears chainmail under his shirt for protection
-Lester is and has been deathly afraid of Rand ever since the incident.

I keep thinking I'm doing something wrong, or Lester's history is not good enough and cliche, or his personality is stupid or that his design is over the top.
